Frequently Asked Questions
Do I pay by the footage I send you or by the length
of the finished product?
You pay by the length of footage you send to be edited.
How long will my finished DVD be?
This very much depends on the quality of the video
footage.
A recently completed project had 3 DV tapes, one with
50 minutes of footage, the second had 45 minutes and
the third had 28 minutes.
There was a 12 minute section which was not to be
included.
These tapes resulted in a 22 minute finished product.
Can I have normal photographs incorporated in my film?
Yes. If you send us either photographs to scan, e-mail
them to us or send them on an SD card, we can build
them into your DVD using transitions.
Often people send photographs to be used as chapter
titles.
How long will it take for my project to be completed?
This will depend on the complexity of your project
and the demand on our editors. Peak periods tend to
be around Christmas and Easter and the
high season of the summer holidays.
We do however aim to complete a home movie and
ship it and your materials back to you within 28 days
of their receipt.
Will my DVD play on any player?
We record onto DVD +RW which can be played on most
modern DVD players. If you have any difficulties,
try playing it on a friend or neighbour's player.
If you can't get it to play on any machine, contact
us by e-mail and we will do our best to resolve the
problem. Do not return the product.
Can my project be prepared for playing on the internet?
Yes, for a modest charge we can render your project in
Windows Media format.
